About
Hi, I'm Kilian. I'm pursuing a master's degree in computer science in Hamburg and work as a software engineer at CHECK24.
I'm interested in how an application works as a whole, from the frontend through the backend to the database. At CHECK24, I develop software with Angular, TypeScript, and PHP. Previously, I worked with React and Spring Boot, designed database schemas, and built CI/CD pipelines.
In my master's, I focus on autonomous and intelligent systems. Outside university, I tinker with my NixOS setup and home server.
When I do manage to step away from my computer, you'll find me at concerts, on the football pitch, or on the ski slopes.

Developed investment fund master data software from UX to backend using React, Next.js, Java Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. Designed the database schema, set up a Jenkins pipeline, and coordinated requirements directly with the client. Subsequently worked as a working student, modernizing a life insurance platform, migrating C code to Java, and expanding test coverage.
